Now we are adding 9th to Fm pentatonic scale.
A lot of times, I like to think of Abmaj7 arpeggio when I'm using this approach. Or we can think of Cm pentatonic scale on Fm as well.
I would have to say tough I'm already sacrificing motif and variation approach I was able to pull off on the previous example. Just adding 1 note made my mind busy already so I'm playing more like a series of licks here.
It'll be a nice challenge if we can focus on motifs on this as well.
Then there is these chromatic approach I was describing towards the end.
I normally would hit chromatic note half step from below to slide to the target note, then the next note will be a plain hit without a slide.
