Here's the excerpt of the previous lesson video How to Jazz Up Your Blues Licks with tabs. By making these transcription, I realized one more thing, it's about call and response. When there's a call and response, often they come with a theme (motif) and variation. I wasn't thinking much about it but I was repeating the same motifs more likely with adding notes or changing rhythms. Important aspect is that there's call and response, in this case I was playing motif A, answering it with motif B, making a variation of motif A, answering motif B with extra note, another motif A followed by motif C, then another motif A rhythmic variation with repeating the same rhythm using 9th. These things are so called "language" and the best way to learn it is soaking yourself into the culture, hanging out with musicians, eating food together etc is sometime more important in my experience.
