Terms of Service
Last updated September 15, 2026
This site (lessons.yutokanazawa.com) is run by Yuto Kanazawa. Using it means agreeing to what's below. It's written plainly on purpose.
Your account
Accounts are personal — one person per account. Don't share sign-in links or let someone else use your access. Access to paid content depends on an active Patreon membership (or Skool access), and ends when that membership ends.
Lesson material
Videos, transcriptions, tabs, PDFs, and backing tracks here are Yuto's work. You may use them for your own playing, practice, and teaching yourself — freely, as much as you want.
You may not re-upload, resell, redistribute, or share them outside your own use, including posting them to other sites or handing PDFs to non-members. Using the material to teach your own paid students, or feeding it into a machine learning dataset, needs permission first — ask, and the answer is often yes.
The Forum
Post like a musician talking to other musicians: ask real questions, be generous with what you know, and don't tear anyone down. Posts that are abusive, spam, or infringe someone else's copyright get removed. You keep ownership of what you post, and by posting you allow it to stay displayed on the site.
Private lessons
Booking.Requesting a time doesn't charge you and doesn't confirm the lesson. Yuto confirms the time first, then sends a payment link. The lesson is booked once payment is received and the calendar invite goes out.
Payment. Lessons are paid in advance, in US dollars, by PayPal or bank transfer. Current rates are shown on the booking page.
Rescheduling and cancellation. Life happens — tell Yuto at least 24 hours ahead and the lesson gets moved, no charge. Inside 24 hours, or not showing up, counts as the lesson being used. If Yuto has to cancel (a gig, travel, illness), you get the time rescheduled or refunded, your choice.
Packages.A package is paid up front and covers the stated number of lessons. Schedule the first one when you book; the rest get scheduled as you go, and they don't expire. If you need to stop partway through, email Yuto — unused lessons get refunded. Packages are for one student and aren't transferable.
Intro rate. The first-lesson rate is for students who haven't had a lesson here before — one per email address.
What this site doesn't promise
Teaching is honest work, not a guarantee of results — how fast you improve is up to your practice. The site is provided as it is; things occasionally break, and access to any particular feature or lesson may change over time. Liability for any claim connected to this site is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending access
You can stop at any time by cancelling your membership, and you can ask to have your account deleted (see the Privacy Policy). Accounts that share access or redistribute material can be closed.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and the change is announced in Updates. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions go to yutokanazawa@gmail.com.
