My Heart Stood Still

Here's the tab for the head arrangement of My Heart Stood Still solo guitar video with Henriksen Bud 6 amp. I first came up with the simple arrangement for Woodsiders band, I was thinking of 6/4 over 4/4 for the first bar, then Bbm to F resolution line at the break of bar 7. That line is something I heard in Barry Harris's playing, which reminds me of Bud Powell. The A section harmony is a little tricky for me, some say it's Abo7 while others D7. I think I heard D7 on one of 1927 big band recording - I like to search song with original published date like "My Heart Stood Still 1927" on google so I can find the recording that's close to original idea / arrangement. However all the big band has different arrangement to keep in mind. It's pretty interesting to see the uniqueness of each arrangement. Swing music surely was popular back in the day. So for this video, I used different ideas for A section, why not. First time is Abo7, second time I went on D9, the third time I did more diatonic harmony that's none of Abo7 or D7, it's more like Gm7 Am7 Gm7 (C7) diatonic motion along with the melody.
