This approach is something that I had to get my head around spending some time theoretically. In this video I'm using F aeolian scale on dorian chord progression.
There are many occasions in the jazz chord progression where we can play theoretically outside note as if it's inside.
This could be one of them, or we can still think of Db as a descending approach note towards C. However I'm playing Db on a strong downbeat sometimes, it adds a pretty nice color.
What do you think?
