Here's the solo ideas for the end of B section of I Remember You. This change is challengin to connect chord tones while soloing especially Cmaj7 Gm7 C7 part. Cmaj7 Gm7 C7 itself is pretty simple changes when C is the main key, however in this context the main key is F and it also comes from Dmaj7 Dm7 G7 to Cmaj7. One thing I realized at the end is that if we emphasize major7 of Cmaj7 then it's easier to move to Bb which is minor 3rd of Gm7 like the last example on this pdf. In any case, it feels more better if I focus on melodic playing while respecting the changes. Sometime playing less notes and adding more chords.
