Although we have Em7 A7 Dmaj7 II V I progression, I don't play Em7 all the time because of Bbmaj7.
In stead I would sometime think to play Bbmaj7 A7 to Dmaj7 to make it smooth.
I also figured that it's a bit too busy to play single notes all over these changes so I put more chords in between lines.
Those are some details I wouldn't think of if I don't work on changes like this a bit of microscopic way. It's always a nice discovery to find the way I would like to play by looking at details.
