Gm7 Bbm7 Eb7 Am7 examples

This one is a pretty common IIm IVm to IIIm progression. IIm and IVm is minor 3rd apart and we can use similar minor scale with natural 6th such as dorian. I like to use melodic minor on IVm very often as well. I found it's easier to find a cool lines on this progression without worrying too much about where to go. 8th note lines sound already melodic. For this I would think of Gm7 to Bbm7 to Am7 without Eb7 sometime. One of my pianist friend once told me he thinks more of 7th chords so these can be C7 Eb7 D7 instead I guess.
